Computer games.

I keep doing that mate but keep dying.

Hmm, I would say check out at some help vids on youtube but that bit of the game is too dark to see what is going on!

Maybe after you strike it 1 or 2 times, run away and get some more distance again and repeat? Everyone says keep moving? but I don't remember having to do that (was playing on normal)

Edit: check this out from about 1:35 mins

Right I am past the boss now there is a little one.

Played a lot of Ghost of Tsushima over the last couple of days. Really enjoying it. I'm a huge fan of Assassin's Creed games and it it basically one of those set in Japan (well equivalent to AC Origins and Odyssey anyway). So far it isn't doing anything particularly new apart from how you are lead to the next stage of your mission and even that is more of a stylistic quirk as opposed to a complete reimagining.

The combat does seem a lot more thought through, especially when it comes to the boss fights. You really need to get to grips with your various skills to win, especially given they take a load of them off you in some fights. AC game have got better at that themselves though.

The only big issue I'm having with it so far is the camera during fights. Because there is no traditional lock on to targets sometimes you just can't tell what is happening and where it is coming from. Once you get used to it then it's fine but at times it skill screws you.

Story is a bit standard but to be honest I don't play these types of games for the story that much. Would definitely recommend to anyone that likes this type of game.

Jim Sterling at the start of this vid confirming he left The Escapist because they wouldn't publish his review of Assassin's Creed Unity because the site didn't want to upset Ubisoft and possibly impact on advertising revenue.

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone but there's still people out there who don't understand the "paid reviews" argument for game 'journalism' sites. They're all as corrupt as you could possibly imagine.

It's much worse than film reviewers - video game reviews are all about money and hype these days. I trust very, very few of them.

Got back into destiny again recently and the game in its current state is fantastic for new players.

There is so much content over the 3 years with more to come. Always something to do, always something casual to play and loads of rewards. They have even upped the loot gain considerably making it easier to play.

Only frustrating thing is that the best things are locked behind difficult tasks. Raid weapons are understandable , I don't think I will ever raid on the game. But playing for a particular gun is locked behind a 20 minute time limit mission that is half jumping puzzle and a nightmare to get a team to do.

Even as a free game it's great for the modes on there.

Bungie are starting to show why they are a great games company after splitting with Activision. Going from sequels to extending the world is a great sign of this. They have planned another 3 years at least of destiny 2 so the game , although chopped and changed will become the destiny experience people expected in the beginning.
It's a real shame that Beyond Light has been delayed until November now :( but I can understand. Loads of other devs seem to have followed suit over the last couple of years (CD Projekt Red with Cyberpunk, for example) realising that pushing for something to be released before it's ready often means the game suffers badly as a result. It near killed Anthem off completely before it even really got started.
