Computer games.

Same with any high profile game. No Man's Sky was beyond the pale in terms of fanboy response prior to release.

Then it came out, was crap, and people sent death threats to people saying it was crap.

Idiots.

P.S. I still have no idea why anyone would want a next gen console on release right now... there's next to no games for them.
I mean if you have a crap PC and are looking for a cheaper alternative (not cheap atm so that point is null and void but if you got it before the price gouging understandable) then I get it. You will still have backwards compatibility and games should run smoother and all that jazz until titles begin launching.

Either way, I wouldn’t personally buy any hardware on release because there is the likelihood that it spontaneously combusts and all you are left with are the remnants of a house and a burnt hard drive that only contains Assassins Creed Valhalla.

The PS5 hardware is way better than my PC's and I spent nearly 2 grand on this 2 years back. Not to mention the controller is included and hopefully full PC support for its haptics come out eventually.

Consoles aren't going to spontaneously combust mate.

With the roll out of PS5 I lave leapt into the future and snapped up a cheap ps4. This us necessary since the ONLY game I look at is pro evo and the gits no longer support my ps3.

But im after advice and suggestions for new games to broaden my horizons - not new releases - I'm not mug enough to shell out that kind of cash for fun ffs.

I dont want games where I have to run around s map finding hidden things, and I want ones that are easy to get into. Simple rules, infinite possibilities I like. Also games I could play v the missus on a split screen would be good.

Ta gamers.

Rocket League. Bascially indoor car football. There's also wackier game modes that'd be fun multiplayer like one with power ups, and one with a hockey puck instead of a ball. It's my go to "no thinking" game.

Had a look at my library so here we go:
Wolfenstein New Order and Old Blood - Nice, mostly straight forward brutal shooter against Nazis.
Uncharted games - Pretty linear adventure games. No collecting of anything but guns and ammo is necessary to complete them.
Batman: Arkham Knight - Who doesn't want to be Batman

Think that's it as I'm a big fan of wasting my life scrounging around worlds for days to make a pair of pants.

As already said, Rocket League is a fun one. Free to download too.

I just mean they break on launch. Every modern console I’ve purchased on launch broke within the first 2 months. That isn’t coincidence.
