PS5 does work with PSVR, and it does have ray tracing albeit an optional setting in most games with a performance hit that isn't worth it (same with PC). G sync is proprietary nvidia nonsense which would add several extra hundreds to both the price of the console and every TV/monitor people would have to buy to work with it. Crank a high end PC up to the 9s and the graphics on that will blow any console out the window and not just a PS5, also the new Xbox. Its just the way it is, sure not everyone is going to be playing games with ultra AAA settings ticked off but when you do and have the hardware to play 60 fps @ UHD consoles really don't compare but then again you wont get that setup for £500 which is why consoles exist

Yes the price of the system is one thing, but exclusives are the main factor for many people who get a PS5 me included. Doesn't matter how many frames I get at 4k if I can't get the game I want.

Which is why I think the Series X isn't getting the same level of hype on release.

Because pretty much every game for it will be on PC.

Might be a massive mistake from Microsoft that.
 

Booted up ol' Rocket League while I wait for the PS5. Last played it years ago and never got hang of aerial control but think I'm getting used to it. Still a very fun game.

True but I can see what Microsoft are trying to do. With Gamepass being good value for money (now including a month of Disney+ I think), I think they're trying to target families and gamers on a lower budget. Given the state of the world, it might work. But also given the state of the world those same people might not be willing to sign up for subscription services.

I don’t know a single person that plays games on a PC. Very much doubt sales would be impacted that much at all tbh.

Has anyone tried playing on Stadia? They currently have an offer on where you get Cyberpunk (ha!), the controller & a chromecast ultra for £50. Might give it a whirl at that price.
