Computer games.

Pole lap from a league race I did at the weekend. Nearly binned it into the barrier a couple of times from oversteer. This is comfortably the toughest track in the world, to the point where it makes Monaco look easy.

Nice. That track is pretty mental, can barely believe they race on it. Hardly surprising something like that Floershe(?) girl's accident happened. What's Bathurst like compared to it? The hill climb/descent on that looks pretty nuts too!

Just for reference this is my Razer Viper. I’ve got pretty slender hands but it’s really slim but perfect for a standard palm grip.

So after doing a bit more research, specially cos the size is worrying me.. he is only just turned 9 (same kid I posted the pic of us after we won the Derby), I have landed on the Razer Viper Mini. The youtube reviews seemed really good - well priced. I reckon for him comfort will be almost most important.. a full size mouse could frustrate him... but gives him enough "cool" stuff to be happy.

He wanted the Razer Basilisk X but he was going on looks. Reviews seem quite dicey about build quality.
Don't know if anyone has had experience with Viper Mini ...

Cheers for the feedback chaps.. appreciated

Got Civilisation 6 on switch at the weekend for 15€ . Was waiting ages for it to come down in price

not played a game like this before really. Maybe tried an early one in 90s on PC or something like it.

absolutely loving it so far, works really well despite the limited buttons for so many options

id say there’s a few Civ experts in here?

Yes! Well, far from an expert, but love the series, especially this one, and have spent many hours in the games :) :)

Read up on how the district bonuses work for each civ.

You can maximize your civ by using the district bonuses properly and don't build every district in every city. Some will have better bonuses for other districts.

Play a bunch of games and you will figure out which victory targets go best with what wonders and district building.

If you do get sucked in I will say the season pass DLC is worth it with the new civs and game modes they introduce.

Been playing a lot of Control since it was Feb's free PS Plus game.
First off, very neat integration of the adaptive triggers. Different weapon modes have different trigger thresholds to fire so it gives a real tangible difference to each mode.
Control as a whole is a very well designed game actually. An old-school blend of live-action acting for some cutscenes mixed with its mysterious paranormal world and lore gives it a really unique setting. A bit SCP-like in some ways. Actual gameplay is really fun and at just the right mix of powerful character and challenging enemies.
On the expansions now that were also included and they're full expansions, not crappy DLC skins. Playing the Alan Wake crossover which is kinda neat and weird because Alan Wake games were never on PS.

that only half makes sense to me, but I’m sure in another couple weeks it will be clear

I’ve just bought a Razer Raiju Tournament Edition for my PS4 for £75. I got fed up with the DS4s as two developed awful stick drift within 3 months. I also missed the Xbox style layout with the asymmetrical sticks. This is so much more comfortable and is of much better quality.

It looks a bit weird but it’s similar in feel to the Xbox One controller. It’s also got 4 extra buttons which have helped a bit with gameplay.
