Ah, had a different one in my head. You're quite right though. 4.3 Ghz ain't to be sniffed at to be fair.
Yeah, the boost in frames is the biggest thing for me, going from 144 fps to 30 on my console was really quite jarring.

Oh...once you get to grips with the kb&m in games, hop onto a game that supports crossplay, and go appear to be a gaming god to some console kids......
Till you get controller kids on PC that will eff you up.

Speaking of console kids, I’m so glad to be leaving that toxicity behind. I know there will be idiots on PC, but just looking at the server Discords it looks much more mature.
hmm....not had that.
I know my personal experience is an incredibly small sample size, but i have played exactly 6 games of fortnite......all of them with my boys in duos. Played 6, won 6. Not even kidding....and I am normally crap at those types of games. I was just killing cartoony characters all over the show with absolute ease.......
Depends on the game of course but lost of people transitioning from console to PC/controller and destroying it. Fortnite is easier on kb&m for sure though with all the building. The bridge is shortening though with these SCUF controllers etc. that have paddles on the back.

I tried it on console beta but it wasn’t for me. I’m still hooked on DayZ and the mods look unbelievable.

I’ve got a Razer Raiju TE which has extra buttons. All I’ve done is remapped L3 and R3 to the back paddles so I don’t destroy the sticks.
It’s people using Strikepack and Cronusmax on console games which are destroying it. They essentially add paddles to the back of the DS4/Xbox controller, but you can download mods that reduce recoil etc. and there’s no way to track it as it manipulates the controller itself and not the game.
Oh yeh, I play WZ, know all about the hackers on there haha. I play standard PS4 controller on PC but not sure why as I've always been a kb&m gamer.

im the same but it’s only 20 years in future so not too big a deal.
Squad is great but it’s a completely different experience, super slow paced and pretty much requires voice comms and lucking into a squad with a good squad lead for it to be good. Very steep learning curve as well.
If you’re into shooters and dayz id suggest Escape from Tarkov ahead of squad as its a better experience for solo players than Squad is. Pretty much an essential game if youre into survival shooters. Again though It’s got a very steep learning curve but tons of great video tutorials etc on YouTube which will help massively.
Hunt Showdown definitely worth a look as well, it’s in a very good state now

Yeah Tarkov and Hunt Showdown look like great games, but I just find standard fairer person shooters a bit stressful now. I may pick one up in the Steam sale later this month. I like a bit of PvE as well as PvP in my games too.
I do like PvP, but I find I’m better at the more tactical elements. Like on DayZ scouting bases and planning raids etc. But the difference with that and Squad is I can choose my team mates. We have a 4 man on DayZ and we work pretty well together considering we’re all idiots.
