Computer games.

Started playing Outer Wilds yesterday and I have no idea what i'm doing.

People told me beforehand don't read reviews or look up anything and go in blind but it's a bit of a headscratcher atm. I seem to die every 5 mins. Will stick with it as loads have said it's a masterpiece.

Really? I thought it was OK - had a blast with a mate on it last night thought it was decent... favourite one is still WW2 though. Still hammering that 4 years on.

COD has lost it's edge, it's very commercial now.

I'm fairly hyped for BF2042 but I hope it doesn't fall in the same trap - just a new edition in the franchise.

Initially I liked it then realised it just feels like a copy of Battlefield V. Seen a lot of negativity online as well, hasn’t been a good COD game since 2012 IMO
 

Played through Mass Effect Legendary Edition in all of 7 days. 130 hours total.

Its still a special series, although not really worth if you have the games unless you don't have any of the DLCs. The older ones have barely been touched up while ME3 is the same, even has the same weird bugs like shields not regenerating if you set the frame cap to higher than 120. I'd never played the ME3 DLCs so that was new, and the Citadel DLC adds a nice chunk of personality to the characters. I know it includes the 'extended cut' with more details to the endings but I still feel unsatisfied from the endings. Definitely more enjoyment out of the journey, rather than destination.

Got Andromeda while it was cheap ready for next week after I finish my masters dissertation. I know its crap but I just love the ME universe so I don't care.

Why do you get slightly different versions of the same game year in, year out.

Because you 'guys' (not specifically aiming this at you two, but its millions of people) keep buying them, and AB and EA are just sopping up your money.......

How's about instead of a reset, put COD to bed for the last time.

It's a beta (Vangiard) so I didn't buy it... also the COD WW2 game came packed in with the ps4 Pro I got four years ago. Last one I bought full price was Call of Duty World at war on Ps3 over 10 years ago.... 2008 I think. incidentally the last time I ever bought a FIFA or NBA game as well. People are more mugs for continually buying them every year I reckon
