Computer games.

Is Elden Ring still busted on PC? Don’t want to pay £60 for an unplayable game. Only got an Xbox One console and I’m naff on controller.
Two of my kids have played it since release on PC and no mention of it being broken. Believe me, I woke have heard no end of it if it was......

It does have huge lag spikes here and there but I think it’s just random. Sometimes I start the game and everything runs perfectly for hours. Others I am battling massive frame drops for absolutely no reason.

Been absolutely loving 'Prey' on the PS4 this past week - Bought it years ago and it's been gathering dust until now

Not really sure why it never got any massive praise - I think it's pretty wonderful

I liked that one too. Really unsettling, interesting story and good ending.

Can anyone suggest a good war strategy game that isnt too complicated? Something Napoleonic era maybe?

Do you want a war strategy game or one that isn't too complicated??

I'd be inclined to recommend Total War. There are games that cover lots of time periods, but I don't know where they will fall on your acceptable range of complexity.....

There tends to be two sides of a TW game. The campaign map and the actual battles. The campaign map is the management of your empire - economy, diplomacy etc and the battles kind of speak for themselves (although you can auto resolve the battles if you don't want to fight them manually - though you are ordering the AI do the work and it tends to be not as good)

That sounds good - I was trying to play Hearts of Iron 4 as Germany and I couldn't even figure out how to to attack Poland! Even the tutorials go so fast I can't keep up with what they are clicking and why.

Something with some troops to march around and simple battles without having too much else to do.
