Did you get a whole new PC? You’ve got me thinking about PC upgrades again. I really want an Asus 4070 but can’t justify it right now.
I’ve noticed the recommended settings of some new AAA releases are beginning to exceed what I’ve got performance wise.
Also wouldn’t mind upgrading my SSD from 1TB to a 2TB with faster read/write speeds as in theory it should increase performance of open world games, but I’ve only got 1x M.2 slot so it’d be a faff. Suppose I could just get a SATA drive, but it seems a step backwards compared to M.2.
I did look in to ultra wide monitors but they chug your GPU, so I’ve now got a 24” 1200p monitor next to my 27” 1440p. I’ll get a 32” 4K monitor eventually.
You’d be surprised at how often my VRAM is maxed out at 8GB. It’s robbing me of precious FPS.
Also, I’ve started to actually play other games now, which seemed unthinkable at one stage.

It’s so much fun. Could quite happily just swing around for ages without really doing much. Adding the wing suit is great as it opens up a new fun way of getting about. I’m not that far in but have got the Venom suit and it’s added a whole new dimension to the combat. Great game
Only played Cyberpunk out of those but now that it works properly it is really good. Haven’t played the latest expansion but I would definitely recommend.
£250 tops.
If you've a screen already.
You can pick up a bundle for a song. My former pc gave up a few months ago, so I was in a bad way, got onto ebay and bought this gaming rig with a ton of goodies for 220 notes. (don't buy through ebay, find someone selling nearby and make contact then arrange a viewing, if it's kosher make em an offer for cash and ebay can whistle for their 18%)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor
16gb ddr
windows 10
thermaltake 750w psu
2 ssd's I don't use
Was back online proper in under 48 hours. Old rig couldn't play rdr2, this can. Next upgrade is a significantly bigger gfx card, but that market is insane and has been since covid began. It'll be next year before I look to dabble on a super power card unless a bargain happens by. Benefit of buying a unit is you can check its actually running, because ebay is run by hateful cu..pricks, and there's millions of fraudsters, conmen, thieves and tw..swines that use it to feck people over.
L10AA postcode, just for a laugh - 'nearest first' option
I'd weigh up what I think the value is, check to see how much interest there is, and try and set up a testing. Ask them what they're looking for, agree to cut ebay out of the equation, and find a price you can agree. gut says that rig with screen is probably going for £400ish possibly a bit more, scratch that, it's an rtx 3070 which is a bloody big card, that 'lot' should push £600-£700. If that's where its at, ebays take is circa £125, suddenly that's a bit of leverage you can split with the seller...
