Computer games.

Football Manger 24 on Ps5. Playing as Everton who are skint. If anyone can recommend any decent cheap signings.

I’m on mobile version, somehow got £47mill to spend?!? Need to reduce wage bill mind. Someone paid 9.5 mill for godfrey too
I started playing 24, but loaded a game I'd just started from FM23, where I'd been given about £30 to spend, but also played with a patch that put in all the future transfers, so come start of the season I had Beto, Chermiti etc, and was able to get a few players in as well! :D

Lucky you. Saying that you do get an offer of £50mi from a Saudi team for DCL. Might just accept that and do a rebuild with the cash.

Castlevania Advance Collection (PS4)

I never played any of the handheld Castlevania games - I only ever played Symphony of the NIght on PS1 (An epic entry in the series with just about everything you want in a videogame) This collection features four GBA titles, remastered and tidied up with lots of smart features.

OK so graphically they're all showing their age but the gameplay is still a real challenge and the platforming/exploring/monster-slaying fun is still terrific.

I miss more straightforward games like this... the 3-D open-world genre just isn't as fun for me. Gimme some old-school 2-D map-crawling action.

I still love playing Super Mario World.. Playability of some old games will never be beaten!!

Downloaded Warhammer 40k Darktide.

I've been desperate for an open world Warhammer 40k game for years and years.. Maybe even similar to World of Warcraft.

But, Darktide is the latest and so far is very average. Just the same as Vermintide really which even with the rave reviews I found quickly boring.

Will give it another couple of goes but I'm glad I got it on Game Pass and didn't spend £40 or so...

Anyone have any recommendations for a cheap desk top? Purely for working on. Word processing. Internet etc.. No gaming at all? I want to run two screens on it so does it need 2 hdmi ports?
Dell OptiPlex seem pretty popular in the workplace. I had one in my last office job with two screens. The only thing it really struggled with was opening and printing detailed construction drawings.

You would need a separate HMDI port, but if you've got Display Port as well then you can use them simultaneously, which is the exact set up I had.

Here's an example from Dell's site.

I saw this. And there's another 10% off on top! Seems ok!

Decent find, that top one.

Much better processor. It's very similar in performance to what I've got, and I primarily play games on mine.

With that in mind I'm always looking from a gaming perspective, and to me 8GB RAM seems a bit light in 2023, so I would recommend going for 16GB, but I could be talking out of my backside. Saying that, RAM is one of the cheapest upgrades possible, so you wouldn't be wasting much if you did go overkill.

The Dell one seems a decent deal until you try and configure it. Asking for £200 extra to go from 8GB to 16GB RAM is robbery.

Yeah that Dell one upgrades are daft. Like you said RAM is dirt cheap now..

If the Currys one can take a RAM upgrade then its a decent buy.. Can get it for £370 with 10% off. Plus I'll claim VAT back..
