Computer games.

I'm not sponsored by OCuk, but if you want a machine that's well built and comes with support - it's the best option in the UK imho
This really, and the one that @Rita_Poon found via Ebay - I'm not a fan of self-built machines because people are either very good with it or have cut all the corners
Basically have it in mind that if you buy a private prebuilt that some guy's made on his own - you might have to fix things, etc.

Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go (@Dylan will have more insight on that) and ASUS ROG Ally all seem to be good/top of the gaming handheld market currently. Checking for reviews and specific games you want to play would be my suggestion really.

Thanks. I would be playing Rainbow six with my family as I can't keep taking over the main tv all the time. Also would like to play BG3 as I have it and I think I would put more hours into it if I could play it more.

Online games. Dead by daylight and rainbow 6. I have these on my ps5 and bg3 on my steam account.

Seems like Fallout London has been retro fixed. (pre update patched). Any takers?
I've played about 2 hours of it after a lot of messing about to get it installed.
The load times are diabolical though, especially when re-entering the open world. Hence the reason I decided to leave it for tonight.
Apparently you can fix that with a few extra mods from Nexus, So I'm going to look into that tomorrow. I'll let you know how I get on.

That said, from what little I've played so far, it is VERY impressive considering it's a fan made mod.

Not really played games since my old xbox original console. Have a Switch now and fancy the occasional couple of hours killing something...anyone got any suggestions?

Previously loved XIII (13), Quake, Duke nuke em,Bobble bobble, Wonderboy.

I am too old to do all the solving riddles and chatting to wizards etc

So finally managed to get this running in a stable fashion with better load times. Some messing about with a config file and installing a mod called 'High FPS Physics Fix' from Nexus. The latest version of F:L comes with the script extender and a mod called Buffout 4 preloaded so everything is now working way better.
It is a lot of faffing about, but I had a good few hours play time today and it's really good.

If you enjoyed the F4 base game, then you'll enjoy this.
The locations, missions and voice acting are all feel like a proper dev studio quality and there's plenty of new lore, factions, weapons items etc. to get you interested again.

Looks like it's time to step into the power armor one more time...

A good builder will ask for your budget and then list all the pitfalls, if any, at that price point. A systems builder relies on you to already know that plus you rarely, if ever, get to choose where to put your money in to if your budget dictates corner-cutting. So I have to disagree there.

Yeah but with eBay - do you know if that rando is a good or bad anything? Might be a PC that's hacked up to look okay and barely holding on, AIO/liquid connections or tubes being crap ones that don't live long but you won't find out until you use it breaks, etc.
