I've always been a JRPG fan and outside of Banner Saga Trilogy never really got into western ones.

However I did pick up Bulders Gate 3 a month ago to make time pass during my shin splint injury. Its the best game I have ever played. So much depth, yet easy to pick up an play.

Got the Elden Ring final boss sat down today after many tries - very hard. He seems to be widely despised by the casuls and I can see it tbh. Second phase is relentless and you basically have to learn his moveset. This is good, but he does a piss-simmering amount of aoe damage that makes it a frustrating fight.

Time will tell - Melania I think is now considered an ATG despite having a punishing regen mechanic and a OSK move if you're out of position. But the whole rhythm is very different and she has character. The DLC Boss is more of a blank canvas.
