Computer games.

Just completely sick of games right now - haven't picked one up to play in a while.

Seeing Evolve come out with day one DLC that cost almost twice as much as the game itself, which was full priced on its own, sickened me. The game industry is self-harming itself, especially the console side of it. The attraction of gaming is to pick up something and enjoy it, not wonder which special edition you have to buy to get what or whether a bloody season pass is worth while. That, and so many mediocre or downright games are coming out and they're all too similar if they're new IPs, or remake/remasters if they're old ones.

Meh.

Meh.

Have a go on Elite: Dangerous mate. Am enjoying it so, so much. It is basically the modern version of the games I loved. If you notice, most of the critical reviews come from the current generation of gamers, who expect things to be offered up on a platter. The game has some basic tutorials, but basically leaves you to it. No hand holding, just get stuck in.

I agree with you.

Probably why I still love Nintendo games so much. You never get rip off dlc.

On the other hand the new fable game was announced as free, anything that you can pay for is also level locked so you can't buy the game, spend 50 notes and be a top ranking Mage or whatever

In theory that's a good model. It works well in Hearthstone. Problem is when it deteriorates into "fee to play" like Dungeon Keeper.

Just started Gravity Rush for the Vita.

Incredible game. A gorgeous open world with one of the most innovative mechanics I've seen in a while. Basically you can shift your own personal gravity, so you can fly around the world, walk up buildings, dropkick enemies. The Vita has some wonderful games.
