Aren't Egypt do quite poorly in their world cup qualifying group, or am I thinking of another team :blink: ?

boss enough to hold you goaless for 83 minutes in the world cup, and they could have knicked it too had terry not cleared the ball off the line with an overhead kick.

Egypt were alot better than Brasil in open play if they learn to stop free kicks they would be tough to stop. Just looked up some of their players really good players. Mohamed Aboutrika (22) was fantastic. He's 30 and control the attack in the midfield can't cost too much can he??? That kid who also got sent off was quality.

African qualifying is brutal. You have a run of 2 bad games and your out. There are no great teams but there are no pushovers which is why teams like Cameroon Nigeria and Egypt often don't qualify. They should have groups of 6 with playoffs for 2nd place teams.
 
The Egyptian player on the line who armed the ball did a lovely dying swan act,holding his head and the goalie urging medical treatment immediately.
Cheats caught out.

sorry mate i'm just a bit stressed, big game today for the states.

and sorry for assuming you're english, i'm just all too used to english people on this forum bashing the US, and while i'm not exactly a blind patriot, i take our national team very seriously so i might get a bit defensive.

bought 30 minutes till gametime, here's hoping the azzuri don't escape with a draw this time (y)
