At last the benny hill shenanigans is over and we now have a new, young and progressive manager. We all knew BK would be over dramatic in the press conference... I don't mind that tbh, but ffs BK STOP going on about Moyesy when your new messiah is sitting next to you.

I thought Bobby spoke very well in the press conference. He gave us realistic goals (lets be honest most ppl wouldn't have wanted him to spout some red ****e stuff like 'we're going for the league'). He came across as very believable and very likeable. I hope he can keep the big players and hopefully add to our squad with some much needed quality in attack. He wasn't mine or a lot of other fans no1 choice but I believe in him and we need to support him 100% COYB and GL Roberto!

I understand the people saying that he wasn't their first choices as probably he wasn't the most exciting and don't get me wrong I quite liked the idea of Pereira. But if you look in terms of the club we are then Roberto is the perfect fit. He's a loyal manager (Other mangers potentially like Pereira may of looked at us as a stepping stone to a bigger club while Martinez seems like if he does well will want to be here for as long as Moyes has been), he is young and ambitious, he brings nice football, he works on a small budget that the bigger name managers probably would have struggled with and he knows the league. Also outside of football he just seems to 'get' football and 'get' Everton. With such a kind lad with he head fairly screwed on and a manager with the ability to actually smile I can see him doing well. Exciting times ahead, lads.

I i think we should get this alcaraz . Hes not the best but hes free and that lets johnny go to who ever the **** wants him . He would never be 1st choice but could come in for distin when needed . Duffy then can go on loan for half a season or something maybe bobby will send him to wigan which wouldnt be that bad . We do have stones who can play centre back but its whether he uses him there . If we could get 3 million for heitinga then thats a good deal as he was on big wages

Why? I don't get it. If Duffy had played instead of Heitinga for most of last season, we would've leaked fewer goals.
