Cant believe another Blue has written this, I expect 'little Everton' sh!te from ignorant journos or even the FSW but let's remember when SAF took over at Man Utd we'd won 1 more league title than them, this became 2 in his first year. Get a grip football wasnt invented by sky

In full agreement mate.

Someone even suggested we should make a "Thanks David" thread. Pathetic

As @DuckerTheTimes and @SamWallaceIndy have pointed out, #mufc next manager will be a 50-year-old Scot by the name David Moyes

Likely to be done before #mufc next kick a ball against Swansea this weekend

That's that then.

We'll be a laughing stock once Martinez has signed.

I will too, even if it's someone I absolutely detest, even if it was Tony Pulis (gag). I'll be optimistic and hope we have a whiz of a manager come in who can take us where Moyes couldn't. Hope springs eternal.

I just look at our finances and look at what teams with similar finances have done (with average managers) and most of them have been relegated at one point or another. Therefore I fear the worst and I can't celebrate his departure. The major problem with this club has been the ownership, and not the manager.

Selfishly I will be hoping that Moyes doesn't succeed at United, number one because I don't much care for United, and number two because it will be gutting to know that given a bit of financial support he could have taken us to the top of the world.

Don't joke about that mate! I'll sack these off and support Tranmere FFS!

I understand entirely the upset over this. I'm a bit upset too but I've been prepared for this since the start of the season, so maybe it hurts less.

We're in no worse financial shape than West Brom, Fulham etc... I.E. mid table teams, so I think the worst we can hope for over the next few years is 10th or so. However, as Brennan pointed out before, just look at Villa. It can easily happen.

It's a setback, no doubt. And yeah, I feel the same. If United have massive success under Moyes then you've got to look at our rich board and think of what could have been.

Not sure what's pathetic about thanking a man who took us from relegation favourites to comfortably top 8.

Unfortunately the world doesn't run on history. He saved us from likely relegation, if you think that's not worth a thank you then you're one bad bel.

For which he has been handsomely recompensed over the many years.

You've said it yourself, the world doesn't run on history, and in the last five years he has achieved next to nothing while being one of the top paid managers in the world.

He is a bad bell, so you've nailed it.

I know it's not official yet ... Moyes gone, RFUS back, cats and dogs living together ... mass hysteria!

Do people really still expect Moyes to be manager of United? Lol!
I knew I never should have listened to you lot who said a CL team would never in a million years hire Moyes. Even though I disagreed with you it still gave me some reassurance on some level. Blerg!

IF it happens will you all just say you were wrong and leave it at that? Or shift the blame to Man U. and say they are crazy to hire him and you were still right somehow?

When it's up ... any chance you lot could just leave it alone? I think we can take your stance as read.
