When our players have historically stopped bothering in bigger games, Moyes won't have that problem.
I can't imagine any lack of speech, or mindset that Moyes has that would stop Rooney or RVP from playing well. I can't imagine any circumstance where Moyes would feel his squad is inferior when in control of United either.
I am fairly confident that if Moyes does get this job, we'll head south, United will stay in the fight for top spot and Moyes will finally get some silverware and heaven forbid a little credit from Everton fans.
I've said for a while that Moyes has built a great squad, but having Anichebe and Jelavic on the end and having RVP and Rooney on the end is the difference between games this year being wins and draws... and our decent 1-0 wins being massive 5-0 routs.
Us with those two up front could well be challenging for top spots and would almost certainly have us in CL spots.
United with Moyes will be a great prospect, I'd be massively suprised if it happens as I think United would look higher up the food chain but I have no doubt he would succeed there.. for a year or two.
Whoever takes that job though is going in there knowing they won't be there for long. The fans will be looking for a scapegoat and hating whatever manager is replacing SAF before he's even chosen. Not sure its a good job to take at all to be honest.
