Not sure if this is photoshopped but it's going around.

I dont do Twitter...whats that mean in normal person talk?

Wish him well in his future. He was the master of his own downfall by refusing to adapt. The players have to take a lot of the responsibility also. Their lack of effort has been embarrassing. Hopefully we can move on from here and get ourselves back up the league table next season

Spot on.

So long, Roberto. Though many on here would beg to differ, i truly liked you as a person (from what i could discern from a distance), and also what you were trying to achieve. Unfortunately, you failed to achieve it, ultimately losing the fans and, more importantly, the players. Good luck for the future.

Losing the matches always ultimately means you lose the fans, and possibly some of the players, no matter how much of a nice guy you are. He certainly lost the merceneries, but I doubt he lost the likes of Osman and other 'home growns' who always would think more of the club than the manager. Even Barkley with all his problems, is a true Evertonian, and would try to follow the managers bidding, sometimes to his own detriment.

An opinion that fits a myth for an agenda IMO.

I will not take anything away from his and our performance in season 1. He had us flying like we haven't in ages. It was a true breath of fresh air to actually have hope.

Sadly it hasn't worked out in the end and he needed to go after the Derby, but I won't minimize anything about that first season. He had some pretty damn large shoes to fill and exceeded everyones expectations in that first season.

I have absolutely no agenda mate, Martinez is gone now, history, adios, Moyes similarly is gone and won't be coming back thank God.

I have never once said that Moyes could have done what we did in that first season in terms of how we played or how we found a new level of optomism again

Was Moyes fundamentally a badly flawed manager - yup, Is Martinez - yup, but as the league has shown if your flaw is in setting up the attacking side of the game you can still grind out results, when your flaw is defensively you will always come a cropper sooner or later.

That first season was a curious case of an Indian Summer, one man taking over a team, improving it with his ideas and freedom of play, but wihtout the flaws inherent in him being able to erode the strength of the team he inheritted.

As i have said - No agenda here, no need for one, he is gone, like many have before him, the club goes on

I wonder if Martinez hypothetically had his seasons in reverse order he'd still be here?

Or would he have gone after the end of season 2? I'm not sure.

Sad but necessary. He seemed to get pretty much everything right apart from where it matters most. He became far too entrenched in his own convictions and wasn't told otherwise, that we know of at least, by wiser counsel. I've worked for people like this. I've a horrible feeling I've been like this at work, myself. It'd be good if the next man has the same empathy with the club's traditions and history, so long as he changes the tradition of falling at the final hurdle. Now I guess it's just a question of finding the next manager. And then persuading the better players to stay. And then weeding out the deadwood. And then promoting the younger players. And then signing new additions. I might start getting some work done again around about mid-October.

The board needs sweeping now...the same board who have dallied & danced around the obvious SO much of late that it has very well cost us a trophy.

Bill the Blue he may well be but he's also an arrogant and one dimensional boob cursed with terrible judgement.

The tit.

Anyway, onward now eh...

Jose, swish the skirt & carry on flashing the knickers, the MOSH has a pocket FULL of dance dollars...
