Most vaccines are intended to prevent you from getting something that you may never actually get anyway and in most cases you are not dying in hospital and can make an informed decision whether you want it or not. For example, there is no evidence whatsoever that if you don't get the yearly Flu vaccine you will get the Flu. On the contrary, i have never had a Flu vaccine and i have never had the Flu.

People need to have the freedom to make their own decisions and stop trying to tell everyone else what they should do based upon their own personal beliefs and preferences.

It's more likely than not going to be WeChat. Like I said, it started as a messaging service (Whatsapp equivalent), but it's grown into an all in one mini OS.

You chat, ring, browse the web (own web-browser), buy tickets, organise travel et al. on it - the lot. It's all monitored and highly censored by the state.

For example, individual messages will be blocked (not appear) due to key words within the system (party's) firewall and lots of websites aren't available.

You can get a version that runs outside of China, a lot of the Chinese community here use it, but there is still monitoring and censorship albeit to a lesser extent.

The real issue is its prevelance and how it's morphed into something people use all the time for everything (Apple pay etc.), so there's no secrecy.

Good for you. Apparently your reading isn't too good though so you were quite lucky i guess. Nowhere in my post did i say that the Flu Virus didn't work. I said that there is no evidence that 'not' getting the Flu vaccine will mean you 'will' get the Flu virus. There is a massive difference and that isn't based upon info from a government website, it is based upon the real life experience of a 50 odd year old man (i.e me) with various health problems and a low immune system who never gets the Flu vaccine and yet never gets the flu.

Don't be a tit mate and yes i do have kids. Kids obviously cannot decide things like that for themselves and require a responsible loving parent to bring them up the best way they possibly can.

That is literally the point i made about crossing the road. You are looking for negative proof. Just because you haven't been vaccinated and don't get flu, doesn't mean there's no need for a vaccine.

I'm not being a tit. You're talking about the general public making decisions about health, when they don't have any understanding of epidemiology or scientific research. We pay professionals in all walks of life to do stuff for us because we don't know how, yet scientists seem to be excluded?

So you would vaccinate your kids with the measles vaccine? This would keep them safe and also prevent any breakouts from spreading due to the fact that most other kids are vaccinated, yes or no?
