Im not saying that I necessarily would.

I know I was far more open to one when the government were hiring out exhibition centres with a view to them being used as mass morgues just a few months ago. This was because the level of fear was much greater back then than it is right now.

You will know that vaccines and medications in general have a very chequered past when it comes to side effects. Even the successful drugs come with a list of massive potential side effects, and there has been more than just the one scandal when it comes to the adverse impacts of vaccines and drugs.

It wasn’t long ago that benzodiazepines and opioids like Oxycodone were being described as safe and non-addictive. At one point in the States, I know that they were having adverts on television promoting SSRI’s like sertraline, making out like it wasn’t much more than a relaxing cup of coffee, when they are actually brain altering drugs that can have irreversible side effects in some people.

But life is full of risks and therefore you expect some kind of risk assessment to take place, trials etc, to see if the positives outweigh the negatives.

I’m just making the point that the level of risk assessment desired seems to be dramatically reduced when a person thinks death is on the horizon. And that the tests aren’t fool proof anyway, nearly each and every medication still comes with a massive list of potential side effects even when they have gone through trials etc.

On top of that, I think we are now living in a digital age, which is only going to become more and more digital. How would someone prove that they had been vaccinated? What’s the punishment if they haven’t?

I’m afraid that I can see a future where proof of vaccination comes from a digital scan of your body and not a signed piece of paper.

And if it wasn’t for ignorant anti-vaxxers then the issue would be irrelevant and everyone would rightly choose to have a vaccine.

I find your comment shocking tbh but each to their own i guess. That is your choice even if you don't think that anyone who disagrees should have a choice.

With all respect mate, your attitude makes little sense. What if you are sick or injured and admitted to hospital?
Are you saying you would refuse treatment?

You have lost me sorry mate. We were talking about vaccines and whether people should be able to choose or be forced which has got nothing to do with being injured and needing hospital treatment and for the record i never said that i wouldn't choose to have a vaccine, just pointed out the fact that that there is a massive difference between being forced to and choosing to. No government will ever force me to inject a chemical in my body that i don't consent to first, period.

Possible and probable are two very different things though (in respect of electronic tagging) If it took mandatory vaccinations to irradiate the disease what would be wrong with that? It would be a solution that would save 1000’s of lives. Seriously if someone said they could make you immune from something that could kill you what rational reason would you have for not accepting it?
