I'm very pleased with another victory for us, it was hard fought for.

I think the second half showed how we could use some strength in depth, we are unfortunate with injuries to centre backs and lack quality in back up forward player's. I feel Ancelotti was hamstrung to change too much when we were under a bit of pressure.

Doucoure made some important last ditch challenges but I went with Coleman for MotM. It was pleasing to see us tracking down and fighting for the ball, a huge difference from last season.

You can't not be a happy Evertonian at the moment - long may it continue!

*Top of the league and a gritty win against an awkward side

*RS on social media highlighting the penalty decision that usually gets gift wrapped for them every week

*Carlo smooth as ever in his post game interviews

*DCL looking like a number 9 who deserves that gloriously storied shirt

*Seeing your family and mates buzzing in texts and video calls after the match

How boss is it right now

I'm bevvied... Hope you are too.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend blues x

Absolutely....no words needed...just the Gin and BITTER Lemon... ;) :pint2:

True, but we had no midfield whatsoever and nothing to play for either against a club were a win might have saved their Premier League status.

Last season is but a distant, shambolic memory now.

If we'd drawn today or lost then loads would have been saying we're crap mate and need 6 new players.

The signs look good but we just need to take it game by game.
