Unpopular view I'm sure but I don't see this as a big game .
I'd much rather take 3 points v Wham than beat Palace.
With the quality of the teams left in the competition we have no chance of winning it and in fact a Wembley humiliation could be the final nail in the coffin.

Why is everyone saying is this or West Ham? The games are 2 weeks apart, we’ll have time to regroup for the Prem game.

Yes the teams we may meet in the semis will be City, That lot or Chelsea. So what? Anything can happen in a one off game. Chelsea are through, but Forest of Southampton may spring a surprise.

That mentality of “there’s still better teams, what’s the point” is madness. There will always be better teams. Should we just give up and liquidate and let the top 6 just battle for everything each year?

You never know, the lads might still be running on adrenaline from Thursday. I’m fully up for the cup and I’ll be absolutely devastated if we get beat and then have to watch one of the usual suspects lift another trophy.

….but any idea what sort of financial rewards for reaching the semi these days?
Prize money & TV rights??
Is it significant?
We need all the help we can get on that score.

I'm looking forward to this game, it'll be nice to be able to watch without the horror of relegation as a consequence of defeat hanging over us. I'd love us to win, but, I won't be as miserable should we lose as I would have been had we lost to Newcastle. Hopefully I'll be able to watch without terror, and just enjoy the game for once.

No chance of winning it? Wigan beat City against the odds, plenty others have too. It’s the FA Cup - if you’re in the hat you have a chance.
