No chance of winning it? Wigan beat City against the odds, plenty others have too. It’s the FA Cup - if you’re in the hat you have a chance.
In a one off game of course there is a chance of beating a top 6 team however unlikely that seems.
But to think that this team can beat 2 of City , Chelsea and the RS in consecutive games is for the birds.

Southampton are still in there. It’s not a forgone conclusion.

I have convinced myself that Frank will want to play Iwobi and DCL and let them build upon their rapport.

This means Richy back out left.

No way will he leave out our wonderkid AG.

Going to be an interesting selection today.

Begs, Seamus, Keane, Holgate, God, Doucs, Gomes, AG, Richy, DCL, Iwobi my guess this morning.
That could be 3-4-3, 4-2-3-1, or 4-3-3. Works all ways round.

I think this will be the team as well with either AG or Iwobi playing in the 3 in midfield

Don’t know if anyone else has mentioned it but I fancy us to play really well today.
We’ve got good attacking players who have been terrified of making mistakes because the shadow of relegation has loomed over them.
Today, after a huge league win, with 3 points and goal difference (so kind of 4 point) between us and the relegation zone, these good players have the opportunity to just go and play and if they win they get to have a semi final at Wembley.
I think we have a good go today and have better players than them so who knows?
…probably another bent ref to give them all the decisions!

Just realised this in not on any TV here. Ffffs. First game this season I'vve not been able to watch the full game "live". Gutted.

COYB

Unsure what the lineup will be

Surely Coleman can't start? His legs are going to break he ran his heart out on Thursday.

Who cares if there's still better teams left and we don't have a chance to win the cup, just see today as another practice game for Frank to try and get us playing better, we need to start creating chances again. Score a few today and the confidence will be up for West Ham.

I agree mate. Shackles off today hopefully.

Struggling to care about this game, as :

1) We have almost no chance of winning the Semi.
2) Our focus has to be EPL survival. This is just risk of injury & nailed on for a bent ref to show another red…

….but any idea what sort of financial rewards for reaching the semi these days?
Prize money & TV rights??
Is it significant?
We need all the help we can get on that score.

COYB!
We are 3 games away from a long awaited cup, some of our fans have never seen us lift a trophy.
As a fan a player or manager this is exactly what we want to achieve (silverware)

I know this club let us down year after year and i get were the negativity comes from but there is no way we shouldn't be going all out to win this.
