It's every team's dream - have your opponents play a tough game three days before the tie, see it go to extra time (which it practically did with the second half lasting 62 minutes) with 10 men and have an important player suspended.

For me I`d go the same as Newcastle but with Gomes coming in for Allan.... I didnt appreciate the size of our squad until I did this, just a little short on quality.

Love your optimism, as I normally am, but with last nights VAR observer (Twatwell) as ref, and the VAR overlord Pizza The Hut (Mason) putting himself as VAR observer for this game, we are up a certain creek without a certain implement.
After our appeal rejected on all counts, these vile cheats will be scrutinising everything we do looking for retribution. Well I say, we look at everything that THEY do, and if we do not get just decisions, we go for them with video evidence. Screw these control freaks.

The whole VAR system needs turning over to a scrutinised group of specialists... not fellow referees in the closed shop camaraderie of self support. It's pathetic, dangerous and one where the individuals involved seem more intent on asserting their own selves rather than probity of what they do. It's a disgrace.

I think if we play a similar formation to against Newcastle it could work, we played 4231. So if we have Gomes in for Alan, DCL in for Gray and play Richarlison on the left

I think somebody in the list is going to have to learn CM.
If Gomes or Douc gets injured, or even if we want to start with a three, we are a bit stuck.
I reckon Gordon could do it.
He has the energy, enthusiasm, and passion. That makes him a better option than Gomes!
For one game, we might have to be a bit creative in the line up and Palace would not be planning for it.

I also think Frank might want to keep Richy, DCL and Iwobi up top and so we never know
