I think somebody in the list is going to have to learn CM.
If Gomes or Douc gets injured, or even if we want to start with a three, we are a bit stuck.
I reckon Gordon could do it.
He has the energy, enthusiasm, and passion. That makes him a better option than Gomes!
For one game, we might have to be a bit creative in the line up and Palace would not be planning for it.

I also think Frank might want to keep Richy, DCL and Iwobi up top and so we never know :)
Godfrey

Our best chance is that Palace feel the burden of expectation and underperform, while we have nothing to lose and may relax and play better than we have been.

I don't buy all this we don't care chat. Think we should go for it regardless. Definitely get Patterrson some minutes as Coleman will get terrorised by Wilf. Playing away so who knows what Everton will turn up. Wouldn't be mad at seeing Rondon start. Onyango in a 3-man midfield alonside Doucs and Gomes. Just telling him to sit and protect the back 4. Would put Branthwaite alongside Keane. Godfrey at LB again. Iwobinho at the double to start again for me. I live 4mins away from Selhurst Park so if it's rocking I know it's bad news. UTFT regardless!

Holgate has done it before. Don't remember it being a disaster

The line up will be a case of who is fresher after Newcastle and who is available.....

Mina Injured
Delph Injured
Pickford Out
Allan Suspended
Davies Injured
Van de Beek Cup Tied
Alli Cup Tied
El Ghazi Cup Tied

Leaves :-

Begovic
Lonergan

Kenny
Patterson
Holgate
Keane
Mykolenko
Godfrey
Coleman
Brathwaite

Doucoure
Gomes

Richarlison
Calvert_lewin
Gray
Townsend
Iwobi
Tosun
Gordon
Rondon

For me I`d go the same as Newcastle but with Gomes coming in for Allan.... I didnt appreciate the size of our squad until I did this, just a little short on quality.
Wish some of these lot were actually good. Checked Holgate and he's only 25. Should really be pushing to hit peak levels as a defender. Unfortunately he's just too rash and loses concentration easily.

Let's get the win and a place booked at Wembley.

Forget the league - this game has no bearing on what happens in our remaining games this is a chance to give something back to the fans who've had bugger all to look forward to for many years now.

Scrape over the line and lets get our dates booked in for Wembley! COYB

Personally I don't care about this game outside hoping no one is injured, gets sent off or another Spurs type result. I would take a point at West Ham over a win here.

I wouldn't play DCL or any other key players in this game. Very unfortunate as I'd usually be well up for an Fa cup run. Priorities.

Not sure Onyango is fit. A few weeks ago he was out injured.

I'll be honest I couldn't care less about this game and competition with the situation we are in. If we were clear of relegation then I'd care more.....Lampard can play the u9's for all I care..... We can't lose our key players through suspensions/injuries.
