Some embarrassing [Poor language removed] on here about his condition let alone his ability. He's absolute dog [Poor language removed], he's overweight and he's currently banned from driving for crashing his car in a petty station. What more evidence do you need he's a kin waste of space. Get rid.

Truly Class? Behave.

I see you've only been a member on here since August mate. I'm not sure if you were on here before, obviously, but if you were (around 2012-2013 season) we were all raving about him and how good he was, and were clamoring for him to return to full fitness.

He made us tick at the time and was in superb form - there's a wonderful GIF somewhere of him skinning Toure and Nasri (I think) in a game at the Etihad.

Unfortunately with less game time (due to his terrible injury record and partly due to better players coming in since Martinez joined), his form has dropped. But he's far from a bad player.

It is unfortunate you don't remember the great games we had before his injury.
For a long period, we were undefeated with him in the side.
Looked better than Fellaini at the time too.

Yep. From Jan 2012 through to November that year (when he did his knee) he was simply superb. But his poor injury record and, ultimately, Martinez coming in and bringing in better players (though I do believe he would have had Gibbo as a key member of the side if not for his injuries) has probably brought his time here to an end.

I didn't realise registering on here was when you first started watching Everton, what a dreadful fan I must be.

Oh come on mate you must know I didn't mean it that way.

I was referring to the fact that Gibbo was pretty much the be-all-and-end-all on here back in 2012/13, and people shouldn't always be quick to change their opinions/be so fickle about a player that has always been decent (and at a time very good) for us when fit.

Then again you may have always thought he was tosh.

I can understand now why the Man United fans I know said things along the lines of "lol good riddance" when we bought Gibson. He's gash.

Again, why is he gash?

He's been hit by a lot of injuries and fitness issues. He's had problems off the pitch of his own doing, but when he's played for us he's always been decent and was once a key player. Injuries and the additions of players who are simply better/more suited to our style have changed that.

Wouldnt call him gash, we took on a troubled player for buttons, it was a minor gamble and we could have had a really talented player for many years, sadly he picked up some pretty serious injuries and some niggles that may or may not have been brought on by his off field watering habits that are widely reported within local and national media.

Surely if he drank all the time the club would know, he would be a mess in training. I'd like to think the doctors and staff at the club could spot a hungover player amongst a squad of super fit professionals. Surely that would give the club grounds to terminate his contract and save the club a fortune in wages? It's not like they are waiting to see if he comes good and cash in on him, he'd probably go for buttons if we sold him
