David Beckham Thread

Outstanding player though lacking a bit of the pace he used to have.

I don't have a problem with him going to Milan if they're going to give MLS 15M+.

I'd rather see him stay in MLS though to continue to help build the sport in our country. He's been a very good ambassador even though he struggled with injury at the start of his MLS career.

I will say that I think it's a bit surprising as he's had a career resurgence and that he could still provide Capello an option on that right hand side. I don't even think that Beckham knew he had it in himself.

But a big "well done" to him and I'm glad to see him playing well and enjoying his role at Milan.

An as MLS season-ticket holder I should want him to stay with LA. But his performances with Milan have been rather special, and he's clearly wasted over here. He's the type of player who's game to some degree relies on his team-mates making runs and givng him options - which he then explots superbly. he's also always had a tremendous work-rate, but much of his work is wasted with LA.

Be crazy for him to return to MLS now. Whatever the gap between LA's demands and Milan's limit, he should pay in the difference himself.

Truth of the matter is it's going to be up to Posh she loves LA. Saw a documentary on the Beckham's and they love the star studded in crowd and weather.

Personally, I think he is above the standard here although I try to catch the Galaxy games that are on TV. I like the fans that come out and watch him. I've always felt when that wore off he would best be served playing in europe somewhere.
