David Moyes - Taking a knife to a gunfight at West Ham, Part 2

His record since leaving us is poor enough that he could take him down. When we first fired Silva people kept saying Moyes was the safe option for the rest of the year. He really isn't that and West Ham could be in real trouble if they aren't careful. First order of business should be dropping Noble and Rice for all eternity.

hahahahaha

18 months of wishing Silva to fail all for nothing. At this point I'm sure he is just trolling West Ham so he gets the boot quicker and can slink off to Scotland where he belongs.

Jesus Christ he hasn’t been our manager in 6 years and he never will be again. Some of you need to let it go.

There was a good chance he might have been our manager just a few weeks back and that is why this tastes delicious. Bullet dodged.

That’s wum. Moyes put some great sides together, loved the club while he was here, best manager at the club in the last 20 years. Best wishes to him

I'd argue that Allardyce's overall record (with inferior clubs over the full term of his managerial career) is superior. Took Bolton (Bolton!) to the last 32 of the UEFA Cup, and, comparatively speaking, managed a decent fist of his last couple of jobs at Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Everton (quality of football notwithstanding). I'm not disparaging what Moyes did at Everton - he did a brilliant job for a few years, until around 2010 when things started to get a bit stale - but the drop-off in his record after Manchester United in 2014 is staggering, really.

You could argue that, but you would be talking absolute garbage.

“I have always felt I am an extremely experienced manager,” he said. “I think there are very few who will have had the games, and I could actually say wins, I have had.“

lol lol lol Christ. He used to be half decent at talking to the press. Reckon he’s lost it a bit to be honest.

I didn't mind Moyes when he was with us, but when you think 40.000 Evertonians gave him a standing ovation to send him off, only to find weeks later he's come back with insulting offers for Baines and Fellaini. He never used to blow his own trumpet but now he's stuck right up his own arse, thank God he never came back here he's now an embarrassment the way he conducts himself, I hope him and the Hammers get relegated they deserve each other.

I reckon he knew the United job was a step too far for him. His ego must have taken a pasting in recent years.
