Would pinch myself if we got to the conference league in 5 years. Would be a nice cup run too against some (faded) european semi-greats.

Fair play to Moyes been long time... Felt a tad envious yet still they sailed close to relegation fight almost till the end. Yet they are playing European football again next season and at higher level. It cannot be dismissal for footballing and financial reasons.

Good point. It's not like the days when Everton had to beat massive clubs like University College Dublin, Internacional Bratislava and Fortuna Sittard before facing the mighty giants of Rapid Vienna in the ECWC final.

The European cup used to be for champions. Is the champions league an intertoto equivalent now too?

We're not even aiming to qualify for the European conference league right now so we're not exactly in a position to be mocking winning it.

But they put 3 varients of Women's football on the screen,which to most long standing male football fans means bugger all. I couldn't even name ONE everton women player.
