Dyche is a dreadful manager imho (as most know my opinion) but credit where it's due for getting decent points, which was an achievement.
The 4 months of utter turd is also an achievement, of the worst kind, if we have to be fair with praise and criticism.

He will never kick on however and he will remain dreadful.

That said, Wolfman here is really up against it if even I don't agree with him here, isn't he?

He's meandered into the "I've taken a position and thrown all reason out the window" zone.

I get the criticisms of Dyche, but to say he hasn't improved the squad (and the club) and didn't earn 48 points last year is plain wrong.

I don't care about streaks, I care about results at the end of the season. Nice of you to conveniently "not care" about the points deduction so that you can make some completely idiotic point. Without the deduction we would have been 12th, 5 places and 12 points (that's 33% - pretty massive if you ask me) better than last year. The only person who is "embarrassing" and "a joke" is you.

Calm down princess

But the point deduction did happen didnt it?

So you said we were relegation fodder on this day a year ago.

We then got a 10 point deduction, becoming 6, that become 8, and went 4 months without a win - but still comfortably stayed up.

Progress then on the years before him isn't it?

We're still relegation fodder IMO - I'd take 40-48 points next season, now.

All about getting to Bramley Moore under new ownership as a Premier League team

We were last season but the league was alot stronger that season as well. Look at the points of the teams that were relegated in those two seasons.

Then the manager spent £40m+ on attackers and made us worse attacking wise.

Not really, seem to be no one is actually reading my post properly.

Im not denying the team got 48 points but the simple fact of the matter is we were deducted points so we only got 40pts.

But we should of gotten more then the 8 points back during his 4 months without a win.

39pts were available during that period and we managed to get 6pts.

33 points left on the table against teams like palace, fulham, wolves and Bournemouth during that period. Yet everyone only cares about the 8 we were deducted.
