2024/25 David Moyes

Baffles me when people say the league is poor. I think there is a lot of very good sides, much more so than there used to be.

I watched Brentford today and they were so far ahead in their ability on the ball compared to us. Players I'd never heard of breaking through Liverpool with ease.

Then there's us and the bottom 4 teams who are really poor, soon to be properly cut adrift.

Very much expect Douc to start, but surely, surely Harrison gets axed after that performance on wednesday.

Otherwise not expecting big changes, just hope for a bit more incisive play, and hopefully more risks being taken to actually manage a goal or two.

We are currently being cut adrift from the rest of the table, it's so important we start scoring

For me, (with current players);

3-4-2-1
Branthwaite, Tarkowski, O'Brien
McNeil (LWB), Garner, Mangala/Gana, Patterson (RWB)
Ndiaye and Lindstrom behind the striker
Beto.

When Iroegbunam is fit, could try 4-3-3 with him at the tip of a midfield triangle.

But, yes, we do need players.

If I were Moyes, I'd be trying this at some point (based on Garner & McNeil returning soon): -

Pickford

O'Brien - Branthwaite - Myko

-- Garner ---- Mangala
Patterson
------- Ndiaye ------- McNeil

Lindstrom - Beto -
.

Clueless. Young has been great this season but he's not in with this ridiculous group thnk and ageism.

Thanks for the middle finger.

Young has been alright, but the conversation was about creating more attacking opportunities and switching to a wing back system to try something different, with existing players. But sure, let's play a 40 year old wing back. And I'm clueless 🤣🤣🤣🤣

No, I want a win tomorrow.

But Moyes will come under MASSIVE pressure if we get beat.

That's just fact.

I hope I'm wrong, but this thread tomorrow will be very very lively...and not for the right reasons.

If ipswich and wolves lose then I don't expect moyes will be under much more pressure at all If he loses. People will just expect new transfers urgently
