Barca signed Pedri from Las Palmas. However they do have a few more players who look like they will be top notch.
Aside from DCL (Unsworth) and Branthwaite (Brands) theres not many signings that the academy has bought that you could say have improved
Gibson for £1mil rising to £6mil was highly rated and didnt seem to progress...the chap from Scandinavia (Jagne?) signed last year doesnt seem to be tearing up any trees.
As the academy director id have expected a few cheap highly rated signings to progress even if those at the club already werent quite there.

Branthwaite was unsworths staff not brands. I expected more after the academy ban and with him promoted to director myself though. Daniel Jebbison would've hardly been an inspiring signing either.

The allegations are of bullying new coaches and of a bullying culture at finch farm . there was talk of racism too ( not sure who the racism was aimed at) but I’m not sure I believe that one . Rumour that’s part of the reason Thierry Small left .
they are just allegations but it’s been known for some while .
Still makes me sick that clown is employed by the club.

I think the people who are saying I don’t get why the hate on unsworth are missing the point. I don’t think anyone personally hates him but he is associated with the cosy club mantra which has held our club back and in all honesty should of left years ago. He obviously isn’t the main problem but he clearly isn’t part of the solution, the whole club needs resetting. Hopefully he isn’t the last of the cosy club to leave this summer.

Jonjoe is on a relatively low wage compared to most in the squad, I like him and if he doesn’t a new contract off Everton he will get a signing on fee and a new contract off another club possibly in the premier league so Inwill be happy for Jonjoe whatever turns up for him.

The Kingpin of jobs for the boys at the club. Probably has his own table in the Finch Farm canteen with Ebrell, Jeffers, Baxter and Baines.
There was a formal complaint put in by one of the youth team a few months ago.
Don't have a clue if the rest is true, but I got told that personally by a few of the under 18's I was talking to.

Personally, I’ve never liked him. Not as a footballer or a coach, I think he’s failed massively in his post. Others think differently, I’m glad he’s gone.
