If he were doing that for nothing other than to just give back I'd have no problem. However, having an employment contract to just be someone who tells kids not to do drugs is farcical.

If we want paid mentor types in the academy I'd rather it be someone who actually did something in their career,, not a lower-league bum who's career was ended by drug failures ages 29.

Now that he is available for a managers post do all interested parties need to send him a blueprint of there ambitions for the future as I would imagine there will be a massive clamour for his services?

There was a formal complaint put in by one of the youth team a few months ago.
Don't have a clue if the rest is true, but I got told that personally by a few of the under 18's I was talking to.
