Is there any actual evidence Weir would do a great job?. Brighton’s recruitment isn’t great because of Davie Weir, it’s because of Tony Bloom’s data folk. I’m very wary of taking folk from Brighton, very few have gone on to great things away from the mothership.

100% agree, I wouldn't touch any of their staff tbh unless you are prepared to actually pay for the analytics company Bloom has to go with it. Hearts and Como use the service amongst others but I bet it ain't cheap.

Yeah think he went there when he was around 16, I know Moyes was at Drumchapel Amateurs initially as a youngster which his Dad had a big involvement with, Andy Gray and many others came through that club over the years.
funnily enough my youngest boy plays for them at the moment!
He plays right back as well!!
