Decisions Against us

Isn't that subject to interpretation?
Sure. I thought DOGSO if it wasn’t in the box but I think it would have been a tough argument. There was a guy behind the ball, he probably gets there.

I don’t think there’s a just conclusion to that for Everton. I think it’s called correctly but the punishments don’t fit the crime.

I really can't be bothered trying to find the video but was it United last week when a Forest player was sent off when there was a covering player. There was also one earlier in the season (Yes I know it's only the 4th game) but it was possibly the RS and Warnock just dismissed it as there was covering player when I'm not sure there was.

Also, any comments on:

The extra squirted line is still my 'Niasse' moment. Never ever seen that happen.

Actually, not to mention the penalty before our first goal that wasn't really 'mentioned' because we aren't really allowed to 'mention' it.

I don’t need anything to feel better about myself, the irony is that’s exactly what this thread is about.

What exactly am I pretending doesn’t happen? There are bad referees everywhere making bad decisions. They sometimes can’t even get it correct with video evidence.

They are being held accountable more than ever, but there’s only so much that can be done. There’s a referee shortage because no one in their right mind would want that job. Not even at youth level.

Yes and the big decisions nearly always favour the bigger teams time and again, you're blind if you can't see it it happens almost every week. Yes the ref are scrutinised, given a game in a lower division for one week....

As others have said I don't think there is an agenda against us personally, bad calls happen due to human temperament, fully believe the free kick line was redrawn to spite young for moaning. Certain clubs are definitely favoured though, you only have to look at who the big 'mistakes' seem to be favouring this season.

Was chatting to wolves fans, they thought our goal was onside, was pretty sure myself it would be offside, however had that penalty decision they had turned down against Utd, pretty sure myself if it had been us in that match Wolves would have had it given.

No doubt in my mind their open agenda to protect scab six. They don't want to be in the league as it gets in the way of bigger revenues, so officialdom panders to their whims. Actually don't mind watching Fulham Woles Sheff utd eff tend to get a fair sporting game, harldy any point watching us against scab 6 side such is the bias.

You're all mad.

There isnt a conspiracy against Everton. We don't need help to lose games, we're quite good at it without the need of the refs to fix the games.

Every fan thinks there's a conspiracy against their team. It's boring

The foul started well outside the box, free kick was the correct decision in my opinion.
The rules don't say the offence is where the incident starts though. The rules say where a foul continues onto the 18 yard line or past the line, the foul is inside the box. I think it was fairly clear the foul went into the box.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. And for what it’s worth if you spoke to every clubs fans I’m sure they would all claim bias against them. Some of the takes on here are delusional.

Thought I would start a thread with the decisions that go against us and people can add to it as the season goes on if you like

Fulham (H) Keane disallowed goal
Villa (A) Pickford penalty decision considering the Man Utd keeper nearly knocked his opponent out for something similar 5 days before
Wolves (H) We had a very marginal offside goal that would of surely been given at Anfield or Old Trafford by VAR

Doncaster (cup) Doncaster goal offside
Sheff Utd (A) Danjuma free kick instead of a penalty

The three highlighted in bold were all the correct decisions. Regardless of what Onana done days earlier, it was 100% a penalty from Pickford.

Offside is offside, they go either way and we're sometimes sitting on the other side of the argument. It was no different to Utd's disallowed goal yesterday.

Foul began outside the box for Danjuma so it's 100% a freekick and that has always been the rules.

Other two 100% though.

I'm not blaming refs for us being rubbish. I absolutely believe in big team bias, but decisions is way down the list of reasons why we are where we are.

The only one I really didn't understand this season was that call for a foul on the keeper against Fulham. That was a nonsense, and going 1 up there makes a huge difference.

It's where the infringement ends, not starts. It was a 50 50 call that went against us.
