Transfer Rumour Dele Alli

He would give us a different option for sure (that we probably need in all honesty). He isn’t my first choice, but he could be a decent addition provided he gets his act together.

It's all a bit intense on this thread, Alli is a decent player, he'll leave Spurs and do well somewhere else. It won't be us, I don't think, because as many others have pointed out he doesn't fit our system but all this chatter about him being awful is way, way over the top.
He's not awful , that's for sure ....but he is a very difficult player to accomodate due to his position and the fact that he's an arse. It's a no from me.

I haven't read 20 pages & i would imagine this has already been said but Mourinho does have history of taking a good player & ruining them. There was a time when Deli was playing very well & i would certainly take that player on loan with an option. Problem is he's not that player currently. I could however see Deli being happy playing under Carlo, just not for Everton outside of European football. His ego could be his own downfall but if he did choose to come if offered the chance then maybe he would be showing us that he's maturing.

His ego will always be bigger than the club he plays for, unfortunately.

Anyway, I read that we lost £140 million last year. Where is the money coming from to buy anyone?

I've never been a fan of his, but he's very obviously one of those players who people go laughably over the top in their criticism of, a la Lukaku.

He's not really got much going for him, bar height, in a physical sense, but he is a very, very talented player with a decent football brain, a very good goalscoring knack and a decent helping of snide. Good player.

Not necessarily what we need though. If we are in for him - and I'd be surprised - I'm sure Carlo would have a good idea of how to use him. There are also attitude concerns too, as mentioned. I'd be disappointed if we were tricked into bringing in a player whose heart isn't completely in it. He's 24 though, so on the other hand a new start could be what he needs.

I think Spurs would be literally crackers to be lending us players and helping us out though. It makes zero sense.
