Confirmed Signing Dele Alli

Mourinho's comments actually favour him, as you cant trust Mo on anything he says. Alli was fantastic under Poch, but risking another ffp stumble this coming summer id rather wed forked out for a proven DM or a CB. Lets see. I hope Alli does well for us.
We're going to sell a big-ticket item (probably Richarlison who is undoubtedly a want-away with well-documented interest from other clubs), and get a bunch of dead wages off the books.

Said it before the season - this one was always a write-off because we had problems and no money with which to fix them. The fast start elevated expectations, and then we cratered once the injuries started to mount.

Mourinho calling Alli lazy and a bad trainer is hardly out of the textbook for motivating a player.
NES was not in the job long enough to count, he didn't play Dele Alli but given how things finished up for him, maybe he should.

I never got the hype surrounding Dele. Always thought he was in a great team that ultimately won nothing.

Hopefully he puts down the PlayStation controller, shaves his mop, and start playing like the player all the London media hyped him to be.

He's different to some of the wasters we've spent money on over the years because the lad has proper talent, if we can get him back to anything like he was a couple of years ago could turn into one of our best recent transfers, he's only a kid and got a manager who I think will get the best out of him and wants to play football on the front foot.

Maybe his attitude hasn't been great since poch left spurs, but the managers since spurs have all been pretty negative and won't play the way Dele plays, Jose, nuno Santo and even Conte to a degree are more defence minded managers

People moaning about Alli when we have the following bozos in our midfield collection:

Delph
Gbamin
Davies
Gomes
He's not a midfielder though, he's basically a second striker.

I want him to succeed but I have nightmares about the last times we shoehorned a player into the number 10 position over and over....
