Dele as a second striker picking up loose balls and flick ons behind DCL actually makes so much sense when you think about it. Could be a master stroke if he can tap in to that player that scored 18 prem goals in one season

It depends how the manager wants to be addressed as well. If he's happy with Frank, then fine

I'm pretty much on the fence with Alli. He has more ability than the rest of our midfielders combined, but hasn't shown anything for a couple of years now. He's more than capable of being a key player for us, but I have no idea if we are going to be able to get him back into the form of around 2018. I don't think anyone can be confident they know how this will go. It could go very very right, or be a bit of a disaster. But I am hopeful, because the manager seems to have a clear plan for him.

I never got the hype surrounding Dele. Always thought he was in a great team that ultimately won nothing.

Hopefully he puts down the PlayStation controller, shaves his mop, and start playing like the player all the London media hyped him to be.

He really had some spectacular games. When his head is in the right space he is a fantastic false striker or a 10. Doesnt give up, gets out of crazy situations and got a lot of 2nd balls in the net. He had I think 18 goals in the 16/17 season. Thats 2 more than our dedicated striker DCL did in his best ever season (under ancelotti). Outside the box he sometimes reminded me of Davids, the fighting never say die spirit. But he needs players around him and he definitly needs defensive cover. And putting him as pivotal 10 will make it easy for opponents to just man mark him out of the game. I just hope he gets to that pre-mourinho form again. If he makes the difference in one or two games for the win until the end of the season, that would count as a succes for me. We need 3 or 4 wins to be safe.

18 goals and 7 assists aged 19 in the premier league, many of which where pretty fine displays of technique, he was on the trajectory to be a world beater

Definitely fell off, but hopefully even half of that would be nice

The 2 new signings are cup tied, so Gordon will get his chance on Saturday. Up to him, and everyone else who plays, to show that they should play in the next league game.
