More wins than last season and a semi final cup run, I'd chew your arm off for that. Lots of reasons we can't do the same, but I'm always optimistic at the start of a season.

He looked no worse than the rest of them in the 10 mins here and there he's had.
I would argue he looked one of our worst players against Newcastle and Wolves, he played an hour and half an hour respectively in those games, maybe a contributing factor as to why Lampard hasn’t given him a second on the pitch since the Wolves game.

Newcastle game should never have come on in the position he did, agreed he was bad, but I'm not sure how you can find the ability to judge some individual in that performance which was one of the worst I have ever seen from Everton in 37 years of following them. As I've written above, I think he's hampered by the setup we're using and Iwobi does a better job cos he has the legs.
Definitely think it would be silly to write him off, at least he has shown he was good once, we have a dozen absolute wasters in our squad that have never shown anything.

Or.... that he too came with huge promise but never played due to being unfit (mainly due to off field shenanigans). I think that's what he was going for personally.

What are the terms with him. I remember that we pay nothing if he dos not play a certain amount of games, but does that mean we give him back? Would be very Everton to play the number of games required even though he was not contributing and then face a massive fee.
Has to make 19 appearances then we pay 10 million. When we signed was only 18 games left so that was to get over FFP. Even still he hasn’t made anywhere near 18 appearances. He is an everton player so doesn’t go back to spurs. I imagine he goes on a free in the summer. He had to make 40 appearances then we had to pay anything from 30-40 million depending on which reports to believe.

This won’t happen either. He is contracted to us for another 2 years so he stays unless another club wants to buy him.
Which, based on current form, is rather unlikely. We need him to find his spark again as he clearly has the creative ability that we're striving for.
He can’t just “go for free” in the Summer. Someone has to buy him off us.
