Yes, but do we know if the clauses will continue beyond his current contract?
This would make a huge difference to our financials.
If he's on £100k a week now that will mean we pay him just over £4m between now and end of June then can offer him a reduced salary contract going forward with no other financial outlay.
No £10m every time he plays 20 games etc.
That's what I'm trying to figure out
No, as I said to you above the terms of the deal aren't public. We don't actually know anything.

We aren’t though are we. Down payment on that will be nowhere near 15 million.

I doubt we have 10 million to hand to splash out in one payment - and isn’t that only for 20 odd games then there’s another payment further down the line?

Downpayment or paid up front, you're still paying circa 15m.

I'm talking about the total payment, I haven't got a clue what we can and can't pay in one hit, no one has.

I believe so... I may be wrong, but if I was taking a risk it would be on Dele personally, if he was showing the right signs.

The lad from sporting the reviews and podcast's I have seen don't sound great at all.

Based on some of the training images that have been circulating the club's socials this morning he's possibly now stepped up his recovery? he's featured in a handful of them.

No doubt there'll be a new training video released later on, so I guess we may see then..

We saw him play in the middle of a breakdown which he needed rehabilitation for. If it was mental health over physical health that stopped him being who he was then who knows what he could be?

I’m skeptical but £10m gets us 25 odd games to see.

We can’t afford £10m on an absolute gamble with a guaranteed no financial return. There’s no way he’s ever magically getting back to his 2016/17 level, he was nowhere near that in his last few seasons at Spurs either.

We are not asking you for the money Mike.

Everton is a premier League team and can EASILY afford 10million.

But could he be worth paying reduced wages on a new contract dependent on his physical/mental condition come next June?
Even if it was say a rolling contract.
At the minute it doesn't look like he has a future as a footballer, but in his interview he says he wants to get back to being better than before.

Maybe Kev has re-negotiated no further add on payments for Richarlison (stops at £50 mill, flat) if we can get the £10 mill for Dele wavered. Fat chance, but never know!
