2023/24 Dele

I've nothing against Dele personally. He's had a rough go of it, and mental health is nothing to poke fun at.

However, the reality is that I just don't see him ever playing at a Premier League level ever again.

Both things can be true - we can root for him to get himself right, but also acknowledge that it's highly unlikely he can be even a serviceable premier league player again.

And even in the unlikely event he were to become a player that Dyche would ever be comfortable putting on the pitch, in actual premier league games, then we still have the ridiculous contract he's under and our payment to Spurs, for a club that literally has no money to spend and just got docked 10 points for that fact.

I just can't be arsed thinking about ways that Dele can help us this season. It's just not realistic

….you can only loan him out if;

a) another club is prepared to take him and pay him actual money;
b) the player wants to go to another club or even wants to play football.

He might have been there, but I didn’t notice him in the clips of the squad attending Alder Hey today.
Means nothing. There was 18 people including Dyche there, from a squad of what, 25?. Doesn’t look like Pickford was there either for example.

….he’s not looking involved in anything. If he is in clubs plans, I’d have thought it was a good opportunity to see him today.

As you say, it might mean nothing but my guess is he’s on the books but not part of the club.

So is Branners not part of the club? Using this logic.

Pickford also wasnt there.

….but both of those are ‘involved’. I’m not even meaning on the pitch, you see both of those in Christmas videos released by the club this week. Even the likes of Gomes appears.

it might be nothing and we might see him in coming days.

He could help us by leaving

….if you’re new, it’s a bit of a boring standing joke on here.
Yes, but no, the poster said we should send him back to Spurs, so I asked if he thought we should cancel the loan.

A "boring" joke it might be, but it works due to people make statements such as :
Send him back to TH.
And if I was you, I wouldnt get people started about boring.
