We've had players who havent got to that in 3/4 seasons. Davies and gomes scored 1 goal between them in 3 years.
Its not brilliant but when you look around(bar the obvious top 3 or 4 clubs) it isnt a disaster either.

24 league games they have come in, compared to Townsend who has a lot of his in cups.
And has Gordon started 24? I doubt it.

Gordon has even started the equivalent of a full season yet, like a lot of youngsters he is getting overhyped. But he’s just 21 and let’s see where his career goes. He deserves games and to be part of the club moving forward, unlike Townsend, who’s alway been a journeyman.

Gray is another who’s basically failed in his career, but he’s only 26 not 30 like Townsend. But can he kick on and be that 15/20 goal contributions a season guy? . Considering he got 10 goals in 133 games for Leicester . I won’t hold my breath.

Ok he still will be worth keeping as a squad player, unless we can make a nice profit on him.

Gordon I think he has more talent than gray, has a better touch, Can keep the ball in tight areas, I also think he makes better decisions. But he has to step up a lot over the next 2 years. Because if he’s still only get 3 goals and assists, then he will go the same way as Tom davies.

Gray is great with space to run into and when he can kick it past a defender and out sprint him. But as seen v Newcastle in a tight game he lost the ball loads, poor decisions, trying to dribble past the whole team, poor first tough at times.

Anyone counting the goal that was given to him v Leeds at home that he took off Richarlison ( that's not Gordon's goal) Richarlison made that himself.

For a attacking player Gordon's out put has been poor

Can’t believe we’ve got pages of people hammering him, he looks like he’s been rushed back from injury and isn’t fit, same as DCL.
If it wasn’t for his quality at the start of the season we’d be bottom of the league right now and I can see him producing another bit of magic when we’re in need before the end of the season.

Really important that he, DCL and Doucoure are fully fit by the end of this international break.

I was very harsh about us signing him but he's done more than I expected, he has his best numbers to date but injury has stalled him. I think he's good enough to have as a squad member going forward.

Nobody should be hammering him but it's fair to say he's been poor recently. His last involvement in a league goal was at the start of December, when you're in the position we're in and struggling to score like we are people are going to pick up on that. I'm not sure it's a fitness thing, by all accounts it wasn't a big problem and he only missed about about a week of training, he's now been back for a month. He just hasn't really been on it. Obviously that happens with players, and if others were picking up the slack it wouldn't be an issue, but they aren't so it is.

A quick google tells me he’s played seven league games since mid Dec, one of which was coming on with 15 mins to go against City so not exactly a huge barren spell.

Seems to me more like a pace merchant struggling for that final bit of fitness that gives them their X factor - fingers crossed it returns against West Ham.
