Just feel like the club are popcorning us now thinking how many forwards can we sell without replacing before the supporters really kick off. If we get someone in fine but I wouldn't be selling until late into the window and we know how things have shaken out.

Plus we need players to be able to bring on off the bench. Gray would reasonably fit the bill if Dyche allowed it to.

We've been getting popcorned for years by this shower

No, We vastly improved and stayed up last season when Dyche brought him in out of position to replace Maups/Simms
He can be the most frustrating player ever with the talent he possesses, but he played a big part in the end to make sure we are still playing Premiership football for the final season of Goodison Park.

Whatever you think of him, we haven't got a chest of gold and we woudn't be allowed to spend it if we did.
So even if only a squad player next season, it would be silly to move him on before BMD now....

He hasn't played much this calendar year. When he was put into the side as a lone attacker our results were considerably better than when he wasn't in the side.

Hes played 16 games since he last scored from open play.

For £1 million pounds you get what you pay for in most cases think a couple of his goals have been value for money from an entertainment side anyway. We could and have done much worse than Gray for £1m and as a squad player isn’t bad to keep

He's also a winger who doesn't want to work hard off the ball at all, making him pretty much useless over the course of 90 minutes - basically a wide striker at best.

As a striker at least he can't be actively against his team.

Also has no football brain at all, sadly.

Listen, I'm all for selling him ONCE we've strengthened the side with not just a replacement who is better than him, but more depth as well.

Until then, we can't afford to sell him.

We could probably get £10 million for him. I’d rather sell him, Holgate, Keane, Maupay for smallish fees than well one of our better players like Pickford. I get the concern over who we would bring in, but that isn’t a reason not to sell him. He doesn’t contribute enough on a consistent basis.

Why do we need a wide attacker?

The positioning and defensive responsibility McNeil and Iwobi have had since Dyche came in are similar to wing backs in other teams. It is more defensive than what we have seen from Chilwell, Peresic, Porro, James etc. Dyche does not play with wide attackers. Never has.

He signed and had success with Aaron Lennon when he now longer had offensive output. He signed Maxwel Cornet that had impressed as a winger and wing-back for Lyon, but mostly used him as a centre forward.

Because we have no attackers. We need people who can score goals as it almost killed us this year. I don’t care how it’s perceived Dyche will line up. If it’s anything like Burnley, as you have outlined, then we are done for anyway.

Sell and help our FFP so we can actually try to improve the squad . His goals per season shouldn’t be hard to replace

Personally I'd keep but he isn't Dyche's type of profile for CF and clearly with Dwight's excellent form over last three months he's going to struggle to get a regular game at left midfield now so just one you need to trust the manager on but he obviously needs to be replaced.

I’m sorry but I don’t believe Demarai Gray is the only player in our squad capable of scoring a penalty. Feel free to explain if you do.

I like him. He still has a bit of pace and guile and as an option from the bench provides a threat. He should be retained until we're rolling in it. And he's more reliable than any other attacker.
