How old are you ? 3 ?
Mid 30s ta. Along with the Phenomenal 13/14 Martinez team I can't think of a more exciting attacking team than that 20/21 Ancelotti squad when everyone was fit. I mean, come on, Rodriguez and Richarlison off DCL. Filthy. Maybe Moyes era 04/05 when we finished fourth, but that 20/21 team collected almost as many points, with as many goals for and against.

So saying it was 'one of' the best and most exciting teams is accurate for me.

Now apologise

I'm not sure I imagined it but I think the two half seasons of Ancelottis, if put together we would have pushed 2nd place or something?

Or maybe Im way off... lol

Ancelotti is/was a great manager but we wasn't pleasing on the eye when he was here.

Most definitely wasn't one of the most exciting teams

But we led the League for six weeks, and beat Liverpool away with Keane as a starting CB, so how exciting the team played was counterbalanced with all those wins. I look at this team and wonder where the hell our next three points are coming from.

So we allegedly turned down £7.5.m on deadline day from Stevies Saudis because we couldn't find a replacement in time.
I thought it had been decided ages ago that Gray was going to be sold so why no replacement earlier? Plus we had signed Danjama and Harrison before deadline day so we had replacements
Too much smoke and mirrors

I can't rememeber was this the best time in the league that season from December onwards?

exactly

Gray is not going to be in the starting 11 even when we are down on number. He's a sub, squad player now at best. If there's an offer from the Saudi's we need to sell.
Subs have never been more important in football than they are now. Wolves and Fulham’s subs made all the difference in those games.

So dumb. Replacements were needed but he had already been put in bubble wrap and frozen out of the team. Just incompetence from every angle by the board. They didn’t even attempt to get a replacement on deadline day and now we have a disgruntled player and tens of millions unspent on what could have brought in the “replacement” they keep harping on about. Idiots. Stupids. Dumb dumbs. Morons.
