How do you know when the talks started and how long they've been going on for? Transfers are very rarely concluded quickly unless it's on the last day of the window.
 
demba ba has a very very very very very very very very very dodgy knee and a very vevry very very very questionable character imo .good player or not , its not a risk i would like everton to take.
id rather have obinna. he looks just as vibrant and explosive , cheaper younger and better character too.

Is it just me, or does everyone else hate Newcastle. I even prefer boring Sunderland to Newcastle.

I remember when Newcastle first came into the Prem in the 90s and they played brilliant football. I had a soft spot for them. But I hope they get relegated next season and never come back.

Everton should align themselves with Napoli. We should start a relationship with them. Get them into bed. We are more successful than them, but they had Maradona, like we had Dixie Dean, and I feel they are the Everton of Serie A. We should send them Anichebe and force them to sign Billy for £10m.

One of the best threads ever imo, was the thread dedicated to the relegation battle of Newcastle. I can't stand them. Especially before their relegation and crash down to earth, they personified everything that's wrong with modern day football for me.

The Ba thing remains ongoing, difficulty is still agrreing terms.

Its looks like the Osman to Norwich thing for 3.5mill is off, they are following up on other targets in that position now and although Lambert wanted someone with PL nous in that position they are focussing on players from the Championship now.

Expect a Leeds player to agree a deal with them shortly.
 
Newcastle are one of my favourite sides always have been. Recent years they have had a shat team but mid 90's to mid 2000's they where a cracking attacking side. If I had to support another side it would be Newcastle

This is GOOD news...and also positively enforces Moyes' position at the club if indeed it was he who vetoed the sale personally.

I'd have been livid had we sold him for so little. Livid I tell you.

That said, doesn't Wes Hoolahan play in a similar position for Norwich?
