I've been confident ever since we've been linked with Ba that we'll get him. But as it carries on dragging out and Pardew confident Ba will sign for them, I'm beginning to think it's just not meant to be. If he signs like he's a ledge...

If it happens it happens. When it looked like talks had broken down or whatever the other week i started to think we wouldnt get him and tbh i still have a feeling he'll go there cos they'll probs throw the money at his agent that he wants!.

But ya never know, if he prefers us like LCAB first said and now the press are vouching it, then you'd think he'd step in and say i want to go to Everton, end of!. But agents are [Poor language removed] and stick there noses in and things change.

Plus the way we play, Ba would suit us more then Long. I do like Long and wouldn't be unhappy if we signed him but Cahill behind Ba would work well I think.

They haven't got any money either so can't afford him. They've apparently got to look for free's. Bit like us really!

On the hip injections, Long picked up a hip injury at the beginning of the year and managed to play a few games after injections in his hip. Nothing more than that.
