Yep the only thing this tells me is the club were behind the Simeone story.

Embarrassing.

I guess we are going to pinch Griezeman of Utd like we did with Mourinho and Mata. No wait. That isn't what happened. As soon as they asked we gave them our star striker just in time so they could have a full pre-season with him.

We didn't even buy a backup LB for a 33 year old starter and a backup RB for a guy with a broken leg.

There's having unrealistic ambition and then there's just pure BS. You decide.

He's one of the ex players that hosts the meet the fans PR discussions at the club.

He won't answer any difficult questions and shuts down anyone who persists.

He's a club mouthpiece nothing more.

Kenwright may have well said it.

I really hope you are right but if that's the case then why is he still at the club? A cynic would think they just didn't want to spend the money.

It's not so they can play the kids. We don't have a kid for LB and Koeman didn't rate Kenny at all so was never likely to play him.

It’s like me approaching Claudia Schiffer saying I might not be the best looking, fittest or most successful (actually last week I was in the relegation zone) but give me a few years and a good surgeon and I promise I will be, so you best give me a shot now.

Oh and by the way I’ve got money but less than those other successful good looking guys that I promise you i’ll be better than in 2-3 years.

Many women are pole climbers. They'll drape themselves all over a pro footballer because they have cash, and aren't worried that another footballer is paid more, so long as there's enough cash to pander to their quest for vanity and baubles. This is why many but ugly, charmless,characterless footballers have their choice of grease painted beauties.

Managers won't be far different, so long as they can afford an overly priced branded watch,each week, and some hand made Italian golf shoes, without worrying the bank account the money will talk.

What I've realised is 2 things. 1) you seem to like full stops & 2) this is a forum where people discuss 'things'. You do realise that this isn't the actual club here right?
