Oh my god- are you serious?! Yes it was a cut and paste but it was also meant to be a bit of fun.

I personally think that the PC brigade have gone too far and if we cant laugh at ourselves then who can we laugh at. I miss the days where at my parents house we used to leave the back door unlocked when out and I used to play football until 11pm under street lights. About a month ago I was in London and a group of guys were trying to start fights with anyone passing- one of them pulled a knife and was flashing it around like he was proud of it.

of course that sort of behaviour would never have happened 30 years ago. :dodgy:

Yeah I am serious. I like a sick joke as much (maybe more than) the next guy but Bernard Manning was meant to be a bit of fun too and he was a Bigoted ****.

The Mohammed one I can understand- I just think it highlights what the world has come to. There was actually talk of banning Christmas Carols being played in Supermarkets due to other religions not agreeing with it?! WTF?

But this is just funny:

Scenario: Johnny falls during break and scrapes his knee. His teacher, Mary, finds him crying, and gives him a hug to comfort him.

1977 - Johnny soon feels better and goes back to playing.
2007 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces three years in prison. Johnny undergoes five years of therapy. Becomes gay.

That one is a rib-tickler!:D

The Mary/teacher one!

My daughter has just finished her placement period training to be a teacher and she asked me to vet some of her stuff before handing her folders in to the Uni. I read some of her comments to a kid who was either as thick as a brick, which I doubt, or was just mucking about and no trying, comments like 'well done Billy' or 'thats much better Billy' followed by 'you are really trying Billy' when Billy wasn't taking the slightest bit of notice. I pulled her up saying this is doesn't pay attention, seems to be disruptive, could give a sod about anything yet you praise him, she said that in this day and age you cannot criticise a child in any way, now in my day you'd have got a clip round the ear, and that would have been from my mum for starters.

We are living in a society that encourages failure, give me the child and I'll show you the man, why did these PC pricks get a foot in the door

Scenario: Two 14 year old lads being disruptive outside mans house

1977: Man comes out, gives them a clip round the ear an Tells them to behave. Lads say sorry an trundle of home. Man tuts at the little scally-wags. Go's back in with smile on his face "boys will be boys"

2007: Man comes out, first boy pulls out 8" Blade. Stabs him up to fukk while his mate records it on his phone. Leave the man for dead an go home to put it on YOUTUBE ,While snorting coke an drinking vodka.

Your totally right what you'v put. But this is a totally different world now.

Good piece thou mate.

well, they have bred the air of tolerance society en mass suffers now. where 'responsibility' is a dirty word, where those seeking to condemn are treated as bloody minded scum, and where criminals are the victims.

too soft, too selfish. the hippies soon change tunes when they are on the receiving end of some atrocity.

i would vote anyone at all that promised to tackle law and order first and foremost. absolutely anyone.

And thats the kind of thinking that has created the kind of society we live in today, the kind of thinking that gave us:

"I think we've been through a period where too many people have been given to understand that if they have a problem, it's the government's job to cope with it. 'I have a problem, I'll get a grant.' 'I'm homeless, the government must house me.' They're casting their problem on society. And, you know, there is no such thing as society. There are individual men and women, and there are families. And no government can do anything except through people, and people must look to themselves first. It's our duty to look after ourselves and then, also to look after our neighbour. People have got the entitlements too much in mind, without the obligations. There's no such thing as entitlement, unless someone has first met an obligation."
-Maggie "the T**t" Thatcher

Sorry Micknick but as funny as this thread is, I voted for you to be banned.

It was the pc thing to do !!!

Ha.

heres one...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7307517.stm

A serial paedophile who is back in the UK after being deported from Australia at the end of a 12-year jail term is to be put on the sex offenders' register.

As soft touch britain doesnt have the guts to defend and protect its law abiding citizens and most notably the vulnerable, in this case children, would it be acceptable to palm him off on the americans who we would then pay to execute him on our gutless behalf?

australia dont want him.
i certainly dont want him prowling the streets looking for prey.

dont forget 'Serial Paedophile'.

which leads back to a generation of hippies and do-gooders and basically imbeciles which found their place in the 60s and 70s.

There's an interesting point there. If the people responsible for the problems with todays society, that being PC and do-gooders etc etc were raised in the society of the 60's and 70's then what does that tell us about society back then?

That while on the suface (and in funny emails) everything was much better back then compared to now there was a much deeper problem which is only recently come to light.

Did the kid who was clipped round the head grow up to be a decent member of society? Or did they grow up not wishing to inflict that on other children but went from fear and harsh discipline to goodness and forgiveness with no middle ground?

Did the kid who genuinly had learning diffculties but was disciplined for being dusruptive and not paying attention grow up to make sure the same didnt happen to their kids but ended up making excuses for everyone?

So basically is the way society of the 60's and 70's responsible for the children who shape society of today?

*And just so no one jumps down my throat, i'm not some pc do-gooding hippie, just putting forward a theory which may or may not be true, not neccesarily my own beliefs*

what a complete load.

There have been two occasions today where she has been wrongly accused, above is one such wrong allegation in regards to law and order. The other i skimmed over which was an unfounded allegation about climate and power.

Thatcher didnt create this society, she went about forcing responsibility on the nation ('buy your own homes') - its the ultra leftist, human rights hippies responsible for the current climate of crime and disorder. It is they that stand in the way of proper punishment.

When a person (host) contracts cancer, if caught early enough, surgeons operate and cut it out of the host so it cannot spread and do more damage.
