Discussion & help on depression & mental health related issues

Well, it's the 30th anniversary of my 21st birthday today. Been in better 'places' in my life but all a bit ho hum at the moment. Hard to celebrate when I'm still waiting for a full time gig. It'll come, I'm sure, but my concern is that the longer I'm out of work the harder it will be to get back into the routine.

Happy Birthday mate. Have a beautiful day.

Quote from the book in reading:

'Only where there is disallusionment and depression and sorrow does happiness arise; without the despair of loss there is no hope'

Reading the stuff on here really gives me some context for my own problems. Thanks for sharing everyone.
Very true mate.

How are you to fully appreciate the good times and enjoy them if you have not experienced the tough times beforehand.
Never give up.

Happy Birthday! All the best!

It's not that much harder to be honest. I mean I know it varies for people but as long as it's hours/stuff you've done before - you usually just need a refresher, so to say, for a day or two and you're good to go, at least in my experience... I thought the same when I went back to a job I hadn't done in a year but it's even easier to slip back into it when you just have to, if that makes sense.
