I think the last few days have shown me that I'm further along in my recovery than I thought I was. Not had any anxiety being in college with my old class today.
Taking the steps to get back to work might be the right one after all, One day at a time though.

I sacked in a fairly well paid job for a £6 p/h hour a few years ago and it's probably the best risk I have ever taken. Few interviews have asked why, just said I wasn't happy with my work/life balance and I got both jobs.
Happy and well paid now.

Well I did it and started the process. However, manager sent me a Jd of a role that I could do with my eyes closed but imo it's earmarked for someone else.
But, she said until i sign the document the process doesn't start, so hinted I should go for at least this one job. So guess I might as well. I'll be very calm about it all knowing I've a plan anyway. Worst case is I leave anyway but get another months salary.

Out of interest chaps, has anyone else felt their anxiety increase since the news of Mr Trump? Mine went through the roof today! Also a quick shout out to Coybl25 who has helped me out with advice via pm a few times, top man. Cracking thread still, love the way I/we can open up with real honesty

I've had depression for quite a while, this thread has always been here but I have never posted before. You could say I was ashamed of my depression, I didn't feel like a man, talking about it has always been too hard except with my partner, my best friends don't even know the half of it.
I don't know why I plucked up the courage to post, I think I needed some reassurance that getting back out there is Ok. I guess the anonymity makes it easier.
Basically what I'm saying is this is a great thread with a lot of helpful people who don't judge you. Thanks Everyone for the support since Sunday.

But my mom and my son's visit me on Christmas is cancelled now. They refused to had a UK visa. Just got the answer.
