My wife currently on holiday in Greece has text me today during our seperation and told me to move into a bedsit out of our family home by the time she gets home otherwise she is filing for devorce with a 65/35 split in her favour. I've told her I've not found a place comfortable but I think she would see me dead rather than support me. Does life get any easier?

When you get away from people like that, yes. Seems she wouldn’t have a case for that split
 
If she could tip me over the edge she would be happy because then all her lies and hurtful things she has done in our marriage she could hide. She is also deciding to turn my 13 year old daughter against me sending my daughter with messages that there going away for 2 weeks over Easter and 5 weeks next summer with no consultation. She would love it if I stepped over the edge of the humber bridge tomorrow

If she'd love that, then damn well don't do it.

There's am an entire beautiful planet full of experiences to be enjoyed outside of any relationship. Try to shift your focus to that rather the tangle you fund yourself in now.

Sorry to read you are going through that. I don't know the laws there, but you moving out sounds like it gives her the upper-hand. Also, I would save all texts from her, etc. just to protect yourself.

She might try to turn your daughter against you, but I bet your daughter is a smart young lady and will be able to see through any attempts like that. Stay strong!

The idea of counselling is never something I've considered, always been told to man up and deal with it but something is about to break.

Has anyone taken counselling and did it work?

Try as hard as you can to get counselling. Definitely saved me from years of torment after losing my mum and family cack. As for people telling you to "man up", ignore them. The cemetaries are full of people who "manned up" and ended up taking their own lives. A man will get help. Let your emotions out at every oppurtunity because keeping them in just ends up in meltdown. Thoughts with you and your family.
